Who are LIFE Worship?

Laura White

Bradford is a city in West Yorkshire. Its notable landmarks include the Bradford Industrial Museum, The National Science and Media Museum and Lister Park.

It is also the home of LIFE Church. LIFE Church is one of the most vibrant thriving churches within the United Kingdom; with sister churches in Leeds, Belfast, and Warsaw, Poland.

Their mission, UK Pastors Steve & Charlotte Gambill declare, is to ‘help people find life, hope and purpose’.

Their ministry features children’s work (including summer festival, Rocknations) as well as interest groups: music, creative arts and programs aimed to tackle big issues and challenges.

They’re also passionate about Christian worship. Dance Again, a live album recorded at Life Church In November 2013 captures the passion of Life Church for praise. The album was recorded to share that passion with a wider audience.

Between November 2013 and May 2016, the worship group evolved. Moving with the growth of Life Church as a whole, they adopted a name change and became: Life Worship.

Wide Open Space - LIFE Church

Their second album, Wide Open Space was inspired by the opening of Romans 5:

"We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand-out in the Wide Open Spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise."

Wide Open Space blends inspired lyrics, joyful praise, and synth-driven dance tracks. It’s an album of adventure and life.

Speak To The Storm - LIFE Worship

This year they release Speak to the Storm, a fresh sound of modern worship music written with congregations in mind.

All of the songs are written by the team with the purpose of connecting people with God while reminding listeners that wherever they may find themselves whatever their situations Jesus is the source of victory and healing. And through Him we may overcome by the grace of God. These are songs of heartfelt, honest and life-giving worship.

It’s a powerful album, that, like its predecessors is sure to stir up congregations in passionate worship.

Speak to the Storm is due for release on 25th May 2018. It is available to pre-order today from Eden.co.uk.
