The big win from this book is identifying your top 5 strengths and the online test (details provided with the book and only valid for one use) makes this easy to do, it's well organised and easy to follow. It's not about trying to improve the things you don't do well, or about learning new skills - Strengthsfinder 2.0 is all about developing and honing your top skills to maximise and optimise the results. It's quick to read too - a few hours and I had the gist of it, it's then up to you how you use the revelations or confirmations found in the test, and understood further through the book, to impact your daily life, work or ministry.

Strengthfinders 2.0 could be used in any situation - a team within a workplace, your ministry team or just as a personal self discovery exercise, all would find benefit. But personally I feel that being able to discuss the elements of the book with other members of a team or group helps you really get the most out of the experience. The language of the book is professional but it wouldn't be inaccessible to someone who doesn't usually read business style books and I think Church leadership teams could find real value in working through it together.
