Towards Belief Review

This 10 episode series is not cheap but you get a lot for £25! Almost five hours of programming featuring over 30 leading Christian authors and speakers discussing what are described as the top “belief blockers” to faith.‘Suffering’, ‘Supernatural’ ‘Religious Violence’, ‘Science & God’ and ‘Homosexuality’ are just some of the hot topics explored here.

I’ve so far watched just a couple of the 10 programmes but that is enough to let me express a view that this is very good value for money. I shall certainly be using this with my home group and anticipate some interesting discussions.

The episode on the Bible was very good, despite going over old ground (to me) about its authenticity but the ‘Supernatural’ episode was gripping with the story of the medical doctor who ‘died’ following a heart attack and then recovered without any brain damage. It’s a good, broadcast quality, production with some eminent contributors. The accompanying booklet is excellent and worth buying on its own.
