Anti-capitalism activists who had been occupying the church yard of St Pauls Cathedral have been told they must go, after being denied leave to challenge the ruling which says they must disperse.
Now bailiffs and police are expected to enforce the dispersal of the encamped protestors, after three judges headed by the Master of the Rolls, Lord Neuberger, dismissed the applications to overturn Mr Justice Lindblom’s decision.
The City Corporation can now legally remove the remaining protesters who have been camped there since October last year.
An online petition calling for Christians to surround the protestors with a ring of silent prayer has garnered more than 300 signatories, and many of them are expected to travel to St Pauls to try and peacefully prevent any enforced eviction.
