It was announced in May that Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) President/ CEO, Mark Kuyper, was to leave the organisation to take up the post of Executive Director of the Book Industry Study Group (BISG), the general book industry’s leading trade organization. Kuyper has served on the BISG board for the past ten years and began his new role on 15th June. ECPA said that their ‘programmes and events will continue without pause, as an interim director will be secured soon’.
Dwight Baker, ECPA Chair and President of Baker Publishing Group said, “I speak on behalf of the ECPA board of directors and the entire ECPA membership in conveying our appreciation for Mark’s leadership these past 11 years as ECPA’s President and CEO. His innovative vision and unique ability to foster collaboration and friendship has led the industry successfully through a period of great change … we are proud of him.”
Kuyper responded, “I have thoroughly loved my tenure at ECPA – working with many amazing, gifted, at ECPA – working with many amazing, gifted, sales director for NavPress.
