2014 sees the Librarians Christian Fellowship make a name change to Christians in Library and Information Services (CLIS).
The Fellowship, which was formed 37 years ago, is re-launching under its new name with a drive to attract new members.
Writing in the Winter 2013 issue of Christian Librarian, CLIS Secretary Graham Hedges said, ‘If you know of other Christians in library and information work, or related occupations, who are not already members of LCF/CLIS, why not invite them to join?’.
CLIS will be holding its first Annual Conference under its new name on Saturday 5 April in the Chancellor’s Room, Hughes Parry Hall, 19-26 Cartwright Gardens, London WC1. The speakers will be Dr Neil Hudson, Director of the Imagine project at London Institute of Contemporary Christianity, and Dr Peter Brierley, formerly Director of Christian Research Association.
For more information about CLIS and becoming a member contact Graham Hedges at [email protected].

There has always been a difference between the number of people who own a Bible and the number of people who regularly read their Bibles.
