Don't leave studying God's Word to the minister behind the pulpit. We are all called to study and show ourselves approved (2 Timothy 2:15). It begins at home. Just because church service may have ended doesn't mean your study of the Scriptures has to wait until the next week. Let the Holy Spirit guide you as you discover the significance of names, geography, location, and symbolism to bring the Scriptures off the page and apply it to your daily life. We are to be doers, not just hearers of the Word.
