Behind the Listening Position is a timely and instructive book for all Christians who desire to serve God effectively. At a time such as this, everything is at jet speed, and everyone finds it difficult to wait for instructions before moving forward for God. To my mind, the book is God's revelation to His church and those who desire to carry out the master's work effectively without pollution or defilement.
Hearing from God is a must for those who desire the Master's will for their lives. In this book, our brother, Uwem Ime, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, analyses the right position to hear God. A soldier who cannot hear his or her commander cannot fit into the squad.
Each chapter of the book is a deep study of the word, with probing and piercing comments. A correct understanding of the book is brought home to the reader in its simplest form. The first chapter deals with submission as a great tool for hearing from God. It makes it clear that God wants to have a rich communion with all His children, but only those who can submit can enjoy this privilege.
